Prairie Piecemakers – when there is a need, you step up! Our August community service collection for Thriftology was a huge success! Just a sample as to what was donated: 23 toothpastes, 23 toothbrushes, 13 deodorants, 14 bars of soap, 14 bottles of body wash and Kleenex, toilet paper etc. In addition, $56 was collected, which was used to purchase 20 (additional) bottles of shampoo and 22 deodorants (2 things they can’t keep on the shelves)!
The goods were delivered to Thriftology. They were very appreciative! Wouldn’t it be nice to provide a similar amount each month?
Thank you so very much! You are all AWESOME!
