Yvonne’s program on, "The Fabulous Feedsack Era" is an historical presentation regarding feedsacks, the fabric of choice especially during the Great Depression. Her display includes actual vintage feedsack items made from the sacks including aprons. You may get to model. Poetry about quilts and quilters are presented throughout her presentation.

September 29, 2025 Rose Mapel, Barn Quilts Rose of Artistic Innovations will be joining us for a lecture and power point on barn quilts. Rose is a freelance artist/traveling art instructor and author in the state of Nebraska. She loves to bring together people at all experience levels to learn about designing and creating barn quilts

October 27, 2025 Cindy Jacobs, Art Work on Fabric Cindy Jacobs is an artist based in Kearney Nebraska. Her work has been featured on prints, notecard, and more. Her program will focus on her journey in art and moving her art work to fabric. She has released three fabric lines based on her art work. Her fabrics feature designs of Farmhouse Americana, as well as, her latest line Milk Paint with a great pallet of blender fabrics.

November 24, 2025 Martha Walker, Yesterday’s Stories, Today’s Quilts Martha Walker has been making quilts since she was a teen, and enjoys every aspect of quilt making including piecework, appliqué, and quilting. In addition to designing quilts, she designs projects in a variety of needle arts such as wool appliqué, punch needle and hooked rugs. She publishes patterns through her company, Wagons West Designs. Martha enjoys doing trunks shows for guilds to share some of her award-winning quilts. November 25, 2025 Christmas Wool Ornament Applique Workshop with Martha I will teach you everything you need to know about wool applique, including the properties of wool, how to felt wool, preparing shapes, threads, and the basic embroidery stitches to complete the project and beyond. I will also show you the technique I developed for marking the wool for the application of embroidery designs and lettering.
CHRISTMAS PARTY - December 8, 2025 Enjoy an evening out with guild members at Big Red Keno, 2023 Laverna Street, Fremont, NE. We will begin the evening at 6:30 ordering from the menu-Dutch treat.
WE WILL HAVE A CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT EXCHANGE. The ornament can be homemade or purchased…any size…any shape. You could use the one you made at our November workshop! Participation in the exchange is optional. Everyone is welcome.

Chris will be sharing how the quilt markets inspire her merchandise purchases that tempt us all.
February 23, 2026 Pat Eskilsen …My Quilting Journey Is quilting an obsession or crazy hobby? Or relaxing, calming and a way to keep the creative spirit going? Pat, a local and very talented quilter, will share her journey in quilting from her basic first quilts to more challenging ones. She loves fabric, sewing, cross-stitch and crochet, as well as, quilting.
March 30, 2026 Kim O’Grady, "Frugal and Fabulous” Kim has been quilting for over 30 years taking other people’s scraps, orphan blocks, throwaways, free table giveaways, garage sale and goodwill finds and uses them to make fabulous quilts with minimum expense. She will share some of her many shop hop stories with us. In 2025, Kim and her husband visited 21 quilt stores on the Wyoming shop hop-640 miles worth. That’s dedication.
April 27, 2026 Salad-Dessert Supper & Challenge Project Challenge Project 2025-20266 Inspiration from a Magazine 1. All participants will receive a random page from a magazine. It will not be a quilting magazine.
2. After looking at your page, each participant will design a project based on something from that page. It may be a word, a picture, a color, design, or anything that inspires you! There is no size requirement.
3. Use your imagination and design a project to share by the April meeting where they will be on display. Your magazine page and a short write up on what gave you your Inspiration needs to be included!
4. As always, we will vote on our favorites.
5. We hope you all participate!! We can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.
